Mining $LKY on Mining Dutch
Let's dive into mining $LKY through Mining Dutch and renting hash on Mining Rig Rental.
Part 1: Setting up Mining Pool
Go to https://www.mining-dutch.nl/
Step 1: Create account and verify with email
Step 2: Make sure to click Scrypt in the Top right
Step 2: Configure Miner through here: https://www.mining-dutch.nl/?page=gettingstarted#minersettingsgenerator
These are the settings used in this example
Putting these settings in and scrolling down, you will see the following account generated settings for your own account (which will be used in the later steps):
Url stratum+tcp://europe.mining-dutch.nl:8888
Workername xxxx.worker1
(not going to use this in this example) password d=1216000
This will be personalized on your own account — this what what we are going to use to put into the Mining Rig Rental.
Part 2: Renting Hash Power
For this example we are using Mining Rig Rentals.
Step 1: Make an account with MRR
Step 2: Go to balance and generate a new address for depositing the funds used to rent hash power
Step 3: Deposit assets onto the generated address — which will be used for renting hash power.
Step 4: Making a pool to connect from Dutch Mining: https://www.miningrigrentals.com/account/pools
Fill in the details given in the Step 2 of Part 1.
Give any name you want — and leave password blank.
Now the pool is defined and can be added to the profile to be ready to be connected with the rented hash power rig(s).
Step 5: Go to https://www.miningrigrentals.com/account/profiles
Select the Scrypt Algorithm:
Make a new profile — give it a new name and select the pool name which was made in the previous steps. No password is needed.
Add the pool and click save profile.
Part 3: Connecting Rented Power to Dutch Mining Pool
Step 1: Choosing rigs to rent HP- search Scrypt in the marketplace section in the header
You can quick rent if you don’t mind which rigs are being chosen
These are the settings which can be used for the standard procedure — make sure to choose Live Rigs ONLY
Clicking Search Mining Rig Rental lists the selection of rigs which equals the desired hash power in total.
NOTE: In this section we are locking in many rentals which are equalling the total hash power -this can also be done manually where a SINGLE rig delivers the desired hash power and you don’t rely on many rentals. This however has to be done manually.
Choose the profile name you made in the previous step and click “Pay Now”
Step 2: Go to https://www.mining-dutch.nl/index.php?page=workers
Choose the miner group — “Normally this would be default when doing this the first time”
Coin = multi port ; Mode = pps ; Apply settings — within 5 minutes the pool should be running.
